ZINOXX

Zinoxx is an extreme silver-gray anti-corrosion coating that protects machinery, steel, metal, aluminum, etc., from the appearance of oxidation, providing a better appearance and greater functionality to metallized surfaces.

Zinoxx provides active cathodic corrosion protection for steel, applied as an aerosol or by dipping. The material is characterized by its extreme anticorrosive protection,

a good reaction to agitation (sedimentation) and an excellent leveling (sinking).

STORAGE:

Closed containers should be stored at a temperature of 5 ° C to 25 ° C (protected from

direct sunlight).

Opened containers must be processed quickly. The expiration date for each batch is listed on the product label.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION:

The substrate must be clean, oil-free and dry. For preliminary cleaning the cleaners

Alkaline or solvent mixtures are suitable.

Spray Zinoxx on the surface and dry at room temperature or by thermal curing in a convection oven.

During application it is recommended to shake the liquid coating material lightly and continuously to

avoid settling of pigments.

Spray nozzles with a diameter of 1.2 to 1.5 mm are recommended

and compressed air without oil of 1 – 1.5 bar (atm).

For immersion, dilution of the coating solution with butoxyethanol (1: 1 by weight) is recommended. The

laminate or the part is immersed in the coating solution until homogeneous wetting is obtained. Retires

the piece from the coating solution and the excess solution is removed.

Note: the coating liquid is sensitive to water and humidity. Re-close containers carefully

and do not keep them open unnecessarily for long periods.

DRYING:

  1. a) Drying at room temperatureThe coating should be dry to the touch after 15 min at room temperature. After 1 to 3 days, inDepending on the environmental conditions (temperature, humidity), the coating will be completely dry. The spesorRecommended dry coating is 10 to 30 μm.

    b) Curing in a convection oven (forced drying)

    The coating is dried for 15 to 30 minutes at a temperature of 150 ° C to 250 ° C in a convection oven.

The recommended dry coating thickness is 5-10 μm.
